Delicious chicken (4.5/5) at affordable prices. Get the half chicken ($13) and pork fried rice: you won't regret it. The chicken is succulent, moist, and tender and with the green sauce is just absolutely delicious. The passion fruit drink (3/5) is good too.

Super solid chifa spot. Their pollo a la brasa is reliably good and their chaufa, beans, maduros, aji, etc. are always tasty. Ambience is basic but tidy, and the food, while nothing outta this world, is a safe bet every time. Prices for New York are more than reasonable.

I’ve tried lomos from soooo many restaurants in queens and absolutely none reach the same level as this place. time and time again I’ll come here again.

Consistently good food. This is the only Peruvian barbecue chicken that my wife would eat. We have similar places closer to us but we go farther just to eat Caravan chicken.

WHY IS THIS CHICKEN SOOOO VERY GOOD??? First timer here. Soft meat, the taste permeated to the bones. Incredible! Definitely will order again!

This may be one of my favorite meals I’ve had in NYC. everything was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. My husband said chicken was ruined for him forever since he loved it so much. Very affordable and friendly staff.

This is like peking bbq in woodside but in astoria and much safer looking . If your scared of all woodside queens criminals come here instead!

Great food just sad they aren't open Right now. Was really looking forward to eating some chicken and rice

The food here is amazing. I had the Pollo ala brasa with fries and the house special fried rice. So good. The chicken is seasoned and marinated well and is super moist. The fries are perfectly crisp and well salted. I got salchipapa for my son. The sausage was actually not too salty, which was a plus for me. I've been back a few times and the quality is consistent. The staff is very nice. The decor is a little dated, but it's not a dealbreaker. I'll be back to try the ribs next.

My friend always talks up Caravan chicken, so I finally decided to give it a try! On a chilly day, I opted for the 1/4 chicken combo with pork fried rice and salad, while my boyfriend went for the 1/2 chicken and ribs combo with the same sides. Portions were big and we were able to have leftovers for lunch the next day. We also shared their sweet plantains (Maduros) - everything tasted amazing and was perfectly seasoned! The spicy green sauce that they give you on the side... so goood! Although I enjoyed the chicken, the ribs stole the show for me. They were incredibly tasty and fell off the bone. The pork fried rice was great, but my only minor issue was the abundance of large onions. If you're like me and prefer fewer noticeable onions, you might want to ask for it without onions next time. Overall, it's a fantastic, no-frills spot for delicious and affordable takeout!
